IBPS Clerk Notification 2023: INTRODUCTION

Eligible candidates for the post of Clerk Cadre in Participating Banks of IBPS are required to register at [CRP Clerk -XIII] to participate in the recruitment process for the ibps vacancy 2023.

The common Recruitment Process for Clerks or Similar Posts for Banks in IBPS is scheduled for August / September 2023 [Prelims Exam ] and October 2023 [Mains Exam ] on an urgent basis.

IBPS Clerk Notification 2023 Level of Examination:

The examination will be mainly in two parts. 01] Online Primary 02] Online Main

Candidates who qualify for the online preliminary exam will be shortlisted to appear in the online main exam.

Based on the vacancies available in the financial year 2024-25, candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks keeping in mind the reservation policy and administrative convenience.

Please note that the mentioned vacancies are indicative and may change based on various factors.

 CRP Clerk-XIII will expire on 31.03.2025.

The recruitment process follows the guidelines approved by the appropriate authorities.

IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorized by the participating banks to conduct the recruitment process annually.

IBPS will organize the Online Preliminary Examination, declare the results, and inform the shortlisted candidates about the Online Main Examination.

Prospective candidates should visit the official IBPS website (www.ibps.in) for detailed information on eligibility criteria, registration process, examination pattern, fee payment, issuance of call letters, and other important instructions.

It is essential to read the notification carefully and ensure compliance with the specified criteria and procedures.

IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidates interested in applying for CRP Clerks-XIII must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by IBPS.

It is important to note that fulfilling these criteria does not guarantee employment in any of the Participating Banks.

The Participating Bank has the ultimate authority for recruitment and may reject the candidature of any candidate provisionally allotted through the CRP.

Candidates are required to submit the necessary documents in original and photocopy to prove their identity, eligibility, category, nationality, age, and educational qualifications as indicated in the online application form.

It’s important to note that no changes in category will be permitted after the online application registration.

The result will be processed based on the category specified in the application form, following the guidelines of the Government of India.

Participating in the CRP, appearing in the online examinations (Preliminary and Main), and being shortlisted in subsequent processes do not guarantee employment in any of the Participating Banks.

Candidates cannot request to be considered under a different category than the one they have applied for.

It’s crucial to understand that meeting the eligibility criteria and participating in the selection process does not automatically guarantee job offers in the Participating Banks.

 IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP:

To be eligible for IBPS Clerk Recruitment the candidate should be an Indian citizen or have settled permanently in India before 1962 from Nepal, Bhutan. Also, he should have an Eligibility Certificate from the Government of India.

IBPS Clerk Notification 2023 AGE:

The age criteria for the IBPS Clerk recruitment as of 01.07.2023 are as follows:

Minimum age: 20 years
Maximum age: 28 years

IBPS Clerk Notification 2023 EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

Candidates applying for the IBPS Clerk recruitment should have the following educational qualifications as of 21.07.2023:

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Candidates must possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate proving their graduation and indicate the percentage of marks obtained during the online registration.

Proficiency in computer operations is mandatory.

Candidates should have a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations/language or have studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject in high school/college/institute.

n the official language of the State/UT where the candidate is applying.

He should be proficient in that language.

Ex-Servicemen who do not have the qualifications mentioned above should be Matriculated Ex-Servicemen.

Also, they should work for at least 15 years in the armed forces.

Also, they should have obtained Special Education Certificate from Army up to 21/07/2023.

Note that the educational qualifications should be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India and the final result should have been declared on or before 21.07.2023.

The percentage of marks obtained in graduation should be calculated and indicated in the online application.

Proper documents and certificates need to be submitted for verification.

The percentage calculation is based on the total marks obtained in all subjects divided by the aggregate maximum marks, multiplied by 100.

Fractions in the percentage will be ignored (e.g., 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%).

IBPS Clerk Notification 2023 CREDIT HISTORY:

Candidates applying for the IBPS Clerk recruitment must maintain a healthy credit history and have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining the participating banks. The minimum credit score requirement is subject to the policy of the participating banks. Candidates whose CIBIL status has not been updated before joining must either update their status or provide NOCs from lenders stating that there are no outstanding issues reflected in the CIBIL report. The final decision on this matter lies with the allotted bank. Please note that candidates without a bank account are not required to provide the CIBIL status, and the CIBIL score requirement is not mandatory for applying.

The application fees and intimation charges for the IBPS Clerk recruitment are as follows:

  • Rs. 175/- (including GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/EXSM candidates.
  • Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST) for all others. Please note that bank transaction charges for online payment need to be borne by the candidate.

    Please note the following important information regarding the IBPS Clerk recruitment process: Call letters for the Online Preliminary Exam will not be collected at the examination venue.

    Instead, they will be duly authenticated/stamped by the exam center staff.

    Candidates must safely retain the call letter (along with an authenticated/stamped copy of the ID proof).

    For the Main Exam, candidates called for it need to bring the Preliminary Exam call letter, Main Exam call letter, and other required documents as mentioned in the information handout and call letter.

    Scribe forms (wherever applicable) will be collected during the Online Preliminary Exam.

    Candidates should bring an additional photograph (same as pasted on the call letter) along with the call letter and other required documents mentioned in the information handout and call letter.

    There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.

    One-fourth or 0.25 marks assigned to a question will be deducted as a penalty for each wrong answer.

    No penalty will be applied for questions left blank.

    Cut-off scores will be decided for the Online Main Examination, and candidates must obtain a minimum score in each test and a minimum total score to be considered for further processes.

    The final provisional allotment will be based on the number of vacancies available in each state/union territory.

    The scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will be considered for the final merit listing.

    Scores will be normalized using the equi-percentile method, and scores up to two decimal points will be used for calculations.

    Please note that the decision of IBPS in shortlisting and provisional allotment will be final.

    IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 List of Documents to be Produced for Joining/Document Verification

    At the time of joining or document verification for the CRP Clerks-XIII, candidates are required to submit the following documents in original along with self-attested photocopies.

    Failure to provide the necessary documents will result in the candidate’s disqualification: Valid system-generated printout of the online application form submitted for CRP Clerks-XIII.

     IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 Proof of Date of Birth:

    Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authorities or SSLC/ Std.

    X Certificate with DOB.

    Photo Identification Proof as mentioned in Point G (i) of the notification.

    Mark sheets and certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification.

    A proper document from the Board/University stating that the result was declared on or before 21.07.2023 must be submitted.

    IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 Caste Certificate:

    SC/ST/OBC category candidates must provide a caste certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India.

    Candidates belonging to the OBC category but falling under the creamy layer or whose caste does not appear in the Central List should select the General category in the online application form.

    IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 Income and Asset Certificate:

    EWS category candidates must submit an Income and Asset Certificate issued by one of the notified authorities in the prescribed format as per the Government of India.

    IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 Disability Certificate:

    Persons with the Benchmark Disability category must provide a disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board.

    IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 Certificate for Specified Disability:

    Candidates falling under the definition of Section 2 (s) of the RPwD Act, 2016, but not covered under the definition of Section 2 (r) of the Act (i.e., having less than 40% disability and difficulty in writing), must provide a certificate from a competent medical authority of a Government healthcare institution stating the limitation to write and the requirement of a scribe to write the examination on their behalf.

    The certificate must be as per the attached proforma in Appendix I.

    Details of Scribe: If a candidate used the services of a scribe during the Online Examination, they must provide the duly filled-in details of the scribe in the prescribed format.

    Ex-Servicemen candidates: Released/retired candidates must submit a certificate as per Proforma A, along with a copy of the discharge certificate/pension payment order and documentary proof of the rank last/presently held.

    Candidates still serving in the Armed Forces and applying under the Ex-Servicemen category must submit Proforma B from the Competent Authority, indicating the date of completion of the specific period of engagement (SPE), along with a declaration in Proforma C.

    Only candidates whose SPE is completed on or before 20.07.2024 are eligible to apply.

    Candidates on extended assignments should submit the certificate as per Proforma D.

    Dependents of Servicemen killed in action or severely disabled must provide satisfactory documentary proof of their status as Dependents, along with an affidavit stating whether the relaxation is availed by one dependent of an Ex-Serviceman or not.

    IBPS vacancy 2023 “No Objection Certificate” (NOC):

    Candidates currently serving in Government/quasi-government offices/Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions) must submit an original NOC from their employer at the time of joining/document verification.

    IBPS CLERK NOTIFICATION 2023 Documents for Age Relaxation:

    Persons eligible for age relaxation under II (5) must provide the Death certificate of their husband and documents supporting divorce or judicial separation.

    They must also provide an affidavit/declaration stating that they are not remarried.

    Persons eligible for age relaxation under II (6) must submit a certificate from the District Magistrate confirming their eligibility for relief as per the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected Persons sanctioned by the Government, as communicated through the Ministry of Finance, Dept.

    of Financial Services communication No.F.No.9/21/2006-IR dated 27.07.2007.

    Experience Certificates, if applicable.

    Any other relevant documents supporting the candidate’s eligibility.
